Vikings Everywhere

Staden På Berget (City on a Hill) in Horred Sweden, was the hosting church for the yearly Nordic Conference during May of this year. 175 Church Leaders came together for three days of fellowship, God’s Presence, and illuminating teaching from Doug Kreighbaum. Doug did a masterful job in presenting the message of building despite intimidation, using the example of Ezra and Nehemiah and the obstacles they faced.

We were also privileged to have Denise with us. The Nordic Conference is a yearly gathering for all Scandinavian churches where church leaders have the opportunity to renew friendships and connect Heart to Heart. These are key days of building together, and the presence of God during these days was rich and empowering. Kai Serholt and the church in Horred have been host to this conference for the last two years.

City on a Hill church is located an hour south of Gothenburg,deep into the Swedish forest. Horred is a village of 1500 people, but the church facilities and family life are perfect for days of building and refreshing. Each year the Nordic family is growing with new friends and relationships finding their way to this conference.
